The Day After Christmas

So having a laptop definetly makes me want to blog a lot more. It's a lot more comfortable sitting every night on my bed blogging, rather than at my computer with my desktop. So, be expecting a lot more blogs! =)

Ok, so today is the day after Christmas. I got up at 7:30 ready to head over to the mall and shop, but was stopped by the evil weather. It had snowed yesterday, and throughout the night, it turned to ice. The roads were terrible, and I had to wait till 11 before I could head to the mall. Most of the items were already gone by then, but I still managed to find some cute outfits with the help of my fashion savvy boyfriend. I got some stuff from New York & Company, one of my all time favorite stores, Express, which this was my first purchase from them ever, and few small things from Bath and Body Works. Definetly loved shopping with my boyfriend, he's amazing to shop with =) I'll be filming a video tomorrow showing you guys everything that I got, so stay tuned for that. (www.youtube.com/stephallijane23)

On Tuesday I'll be heading up to the mountains for some skiing. I've only been once before, and that was with my church. This will be my first trip ever without parental supervision. Talk about exciting! =) It'll be me, along with my boyfriend and my best friend, Kelsey, and two other friends. Chris will be driving, it's about an hour and a half away from where we will, so we'll be on the road for a while. That's ok though, me and Kelsey have already planned out the idea of road trip food haha. Just pray that none of us get any injuries. Most of us are skiing, but Chris is a snow boarding type of guy, but that's ok bc snowboarding is sexy for men ;)

So anyways, trying to keep this blog post somewhat short. Hope you liked it! Stay tuned for more =)

Merry Christmas!

One of the biggest days of the year has arrived: CHRISTMAS!! The day where everyone comes together to exchange gifts, have feasts, and enjoy the presence of one another. I'm here typing from my brand new laptop in the kitchen as my family converses while we prepare our Christmas dinner. I've never had a laptop before, I've always been a desktop PC kind of person, so for me this is pretty cool =) I won't tell you guys what else I got, just because I don't want you guys to think I'm bragging or anything, but I hope everyone got everything they wanted for Christmas. Let's also take this day to remember the real important thing about today: It's Jesus's birthday. So, as you eat that candy cane, or enjoy that present, remember that it's Christ's birthday, and it's by his enterance into the world that we can celebrate this holiday. =)

I'm super excited for the sales tomorrow. Since Christmas fell on a Saturday this year, I'll be having to hit the sales a little later tomorrow, after church. This past week I've been scowering the internet for coupons to all the stores I plan to be shopping at: Bath and Body Works, Express, and especially New York & Company. I love buying clothes when they're on good sale, plus I save through coupons, and all it took was a few extra clicks from the computer =)

Tonight, I'm planning on cuddling up with the next Pretty Little Liars book, Killers, number six in the series. I'll have my little heater going, and watch some movies with the family. Gifts are great and everything, but nothing beats time with family, because material objects come and go, but family will be a part of you forever.

Update

Although I posted a blog yesterday, I have an urge to do another one. I'm trying to keep this updated more. My goal is at least one post a week. So, here I am in front of the computer, drinking a glass of water as my little heater makes my toes feel all warm and toasty. I've been reading the Pretty Little Liars books lately. I'm currently on Book 5, Wicked. I'm not as into it as much as I was the past four books. Sooo many questions were answered in Book 4, idk what else Sara Shepard could write about other than the matter that Spencer's sister Melissa is being a psycho freak about breaking Barbie doll's heads off. Other than that, the series seems done. However, maybe it'll get better. I'm an optomist.

Christmas is at the end of this week, which makes me super excited. My family is really bad about getting into the festivity of the spirit. Sooo, on the actual day of Christmas, and maybe Christmas Eve, I plan on cooking up some treats, putting on some lovely carols, and having a big smile on my face. Hopefully my mom will actually let my dad eat the sweets I bake, she's so picky about his diet.

So anyways, there's a short little update for ya'll. Hope you enjoyed and Merry Christmas!

With love,
~Sarah Jane

Christmasssss! =)

So its definetly been a while since I've blogged, but I figured that I'm now on Christmas break I'll finally have time to do so. Sooooo, today's topic will just be on catching up. Christmas is a week away, and I've had so much fun shopping for others. Each year I've always bought my friends something, but there's just this big joy i have this year towards giving to others. I think it derives from the fact that I gave gifts to people that I care about, that mean something in my life. I'm completely broke now, but i'm ok with that, because I gave to make other's happy. Don't be fooled, the economy sucks, everything is expensive, and pay raises aren't going up, but Christmas is one of the times to forget about the hardships, and remember the people who are important in life. I can name a couple in mine: especially my Mom and Dad, they're absolutely amazing, and I can't imagine a day without them. My two best friends are amazing, they're complete opposites, but they bring out the best in me. All of my other friends are great too, because without them I'm not quite sure who would love me for my quirkiness. My boyfriend is one person who would make me miserable if he disapeared from my life. He has been with me through the thick and thin for the past year and a half and has been soooo supportive. There's also one amazing person who I think about everyday: Jesus. He has been the most reliable person, and has never let me down. He has taken me for who I am, and saved me. On Christmas, I celebrate his birthday, and try to give the joy he gives me to others. I hope you have an amazing Christmas this year, and remember the Holy One!

With Love,
~Sarah Jane

School

So, I'm still in high school; I'm a senior this year. Senioritis hasn't quite kicked in yet, but i'm sure it will soon. Our first report card came out, and for the first time I recieved a grade on a report card that wasn't the letter grade I wanted. Needless to say, I won't say what it was, but it was extremely frustrating to say the least. It was in math, and it made me want to pull my hair out. I'm taking AP Calculus this year in hopes of getting a head start for college, plus I have a good teacer whose patient. However, math has never been one of my better subjects.

School has also been stressful activity wise. I'm also affiliated with orchestra and rotc, so i'll start in on those.

There has been some complications within our orchestra program, because my director suddenly decided that seniority is no longer a priority, and instead the leaders of each section will be those who play the best. While I agree with this, it is only to a certain extent. After all, we are in high school, seniority should count somewhat, but theoretically, the seniors should be better players anyways so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. However, somehow one of my friends wasn't placed as cello section leader, and instead a junior was placed while the rest of the seniors were section leaders and I, myself, became concert master. She was simply told, "You have to prove to me that you deserve being a section leader." Which is understadable, and I guess fair, considering the girl who won the spot was very talented. So my friend works for 9 weeks, but nothing happens. She asks him, and he says that she hasn't proved herself. Then, today after she snooped a bit, she finds out that she scored higher on her scales than the other girl. She becomes extremely frustrated and starts tearing up in class, although, no one knows why but myself. I took her out into the hallway later and talked to her a bit. One thing she said got to me. She talked about how she felt no one stuck up for her, if she was really that bad, someone should tell her, in which i assured her she wasn't. I also commented that one of our other friends stuck up for her, she turned to me and said, "(teacher's name) doesn't care about her. I mean, honestly, she's a second chair violist. It's not even her place to say anything. You're concert master, Sarah, it IS your place." Talk about making me feel like I suck at my job. So after class, I stayed behind and talked to my teacher as i felt it was my duty. Thankfully, I've gotten things switched around after about a 30 min convo with him, and she'll be getting her spot back next class =) Task as concert master = complete/sucess.

Then there's rotc. This year I'm Battalion Commander, meaning I'm the top dog who runs the show. As prestigious as this title is, it's a lot different than what i'm used to. I'm used to taking orders, following them to a T and working hand to hand with my fellow cadets. However, this year i'm an officer in which I'm doing lots of paper work and planning. Talk about a headache. Even that, I'm not even the one doing the paperwork, I have subordinates do that for me. As grand as that sounds, my actual job is to foresee everything i.e. I have to know what everyone is doing at what time, where, how and when. That's a whole lot easier said than done. I have 6 people on my staff that do COMPLETELY different jobs, and I have to keep up with alll of them, plus plans that are taking in effect up to 4 weeks from the present. Its all beeen very stressful, and especially with math kicking my butt, it all makes me want to just sleep.

On a positive note, I started reading a new series. After watching Blair's aka juicystar07's (link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfMOrbRpDNk) video, she talked about a series she liked called the House of Night. Ever since I was young I've loved reading, but its been a while since i've read purely out of enjoyment. Upon watching her video, I decided to indulge myself and bought the book the next day. From there I dedicated an hour to reading the first couple of chapters. You see, I'm taking AP Literature and Composition in which we ready books to analyze them. That's what i've bene doing for the past four years is simply analyzing books for symbolism, foreshadowing ect. So to actually sit down and try to enjoy a novel like i once used to was actually really difficult for me. It took about 20 mins before I could finally relax myself and stop pointing out allegories and what not. Now I've decided I will devote at leat 30-60 mins a day to reading, because I honestly forgot how much i loved it. As a child I read sooooo much, my parents would even take my books away as punishment if i did something bad lol. I'm working on the first book right now, it's called Marked. I like it. It's written a little bit elementary for my usual taste, but I guess thats the beauty of it compared to what I typically read.

Anywhoot, I think this blog post is long enough. Hope you guys liked it!

xoxo,
~Sarah Jane

Another Day

OMG, i'm soooo proud of myself, i've writing another blog within the next DAY of my last. Dang, i'm on a role, haha. Anyhoot, I don't remember if I previously mentioned it, but my pageant dress came in. It needs to be tailored, but I have a month to do that, so it'll be ok. We had a pageant meeting today, and I got all the information I needed.

School is... oh so lovely. Lots of work to do, but oh well haha

I guess i can view this blog as an online journal. The world gets to read my inner most thoughts, feelings and activities. Oh dear.

I've been wanting to buy a couple of things from glitzy-glam. A few being their waffle weave head bands, and tampon holders. I'd really like to get a waffle weave makeup bag, but dang their so expensive. 24 wopping bucks for a bag. I could get roughly two things from MAC for the price of that.

I've also been experiencing a Hello Kitty obsession as of late. I got a sweater and I've been wearing it all the time to sleep. It's soooo cute!! But I only like Hello Kitty when it's pink and white. This whole blue and red nonsense just isn't as cute.

My swelling has gone down tremendously, thank God. For about 10 hours before and after school I didn't take my meds and stuck to Advil. It was hard, but I managed. But not gonna lie, as soon as I got home, I popped one of those suckers in my mouth.

So this was a pretty random blog. Hope you enjoyed it, and if you'd like more of these just let me know!

xoxo

Favorite Music

So, I'm pretty proud of myself, two blog posts in one day! That's a huge accomplishment for me. So since my last post was focused all about me, I'll divert the spotlight to something a little more interesting, my favorite artist of the moment. His name is Sam Tsui, a college guy who made his rise through YouTube. Sam currently has a few of his own works out to buy on iTunes, however, most of his popularity comes from his covers of popular songs.

I first came by his channel when I heard his mash up of Dynamite, Teenage Dream, and Love the Way You Lie. It was absolutely amazing, and it honestly made me smile. From there, I listened to his other recordings, and fell in love with his voice. He has been gifted with a very talented voice, and since then I've bought a couple of his songs on iTunes. If you've never heard of him or listened to his music, go check out his channel! Just type in Sam Tsui in the search bar on YouTube, and a ton of his videos will pop up.

This was definetly a very random blog, but I feel as though I've been neglecting my blogs for a while, so I just thought I'd make it up by writing two in a day. Hope you enjoyed it! =)

Wisdom Teeth

Its been a while since I've updated my blog, but since i've been on bed rest for the past four days, i figured this would be an ideal time to update all of you on the status of my life.

Life's been pretty hectic for me lately, lots of senior stuff I've been doing like ordering graduation supplies and senior pics. I've had tons of homework to keep me busy, but I always find time to at least upload a video once a week...until this week. On Friday, October 15th, at 8:30 am I got my wisdom teeth yanked out. Thank God I was on laughing gas and sleep medication. I had to get all four teeth out. My bottom left didn't want to come out, so my doctor had to break the tooth and dig it out. So I have stitches in my mouth as well.

Pain is usually something I can handle pretty well, however, this takes pain to a new level. Yesterday, I went 8 hours without taking my pain meds, which i thought was pretty good if you ask me (not counting advil, i did take a dose of that lol). I don't like taking my meds, because they knock me out. They numb my body, and then put me to sleep. DOn't get me wrong, I LOVE sleeping, but three days of sleeping is stretching it. I have a lot of homework to do, and sleeping all the time isn't going to get it done.

On a positive note, my friends visited me and brought me signs and two tubs of my two favorite ice creams: Turtle Tracks, and Chocolate Chip with Cookie Dough. Yummmm =) My boyfriend visited me and brought me daisies, a card, and some extra gauze since my mouth refuses to stop bleeding. My brother even gave me a miniture toy dog to keep me company =)

Soooo, as to stop complaining about this wretched condition, I'll update you on whats coming up in my life. I plan on doing one more Halloween tutorial, that's all i'll be able to really fit in since my cheeks haven't decreased in size yet. I have a pageant meeting after school tomorrow, we'll find out the theme and such at this time. On Wednesday I'll be traveling to this AMAZING resteraunt where they'll continously bring me food until i beg them to stop, hopefully with my mouth I'll be able to actually eat the food. On Thursday, I have to order my cap and gown, ahhhh!! I have a Halloween Party to go to on Saturday, but i'm considering not attending. That's my upcoming week in a wrap. I'm not gonna lie, i'll probably update this blog soon again since I'll be sitting at home all day today. Hope you guys have an awesome day and God bless =)

xoxo

Pageant

I've had a best friend ever since before first grade. As children, we looked identical, and we were inseperable. Last year she decided to graduate early, so she was a senior while I was a junior. She had occasionally done pageants, but decided to do one last one: Miss Gem. She definetly did not expect to win, however, she did, and it was definetly an amazing moment. She was utterly shocked, and she deserved it.

A year later, there's me. I've never done a pageant in my life, but my high school career is coming to an end, and with it I want to make sure I do everything I've ever wished of doing. One of these would be: participating in a pageant. Granted, it's probably a huge waste of money, and I'm pretty positive I won't win, but I think it would be a fun experience to have, and I don't want to regret not participating. It wouldn't be too expensive for me, because I could use my military ball dress in the pageant, as well as my accessories, and the only things I would really need to buy is my casual wear, and think up a talent. I'm trying to convince a bunch of girls to do it with me, just so it would be a fun experience together. Not quite sure who will, but I'm looking forward to it. I've asked my best friend to be my pageant coach, in which she was like "duh." lol. The pageant's not till early next year, but I'm already looking forward to it, and looking around for a dress that will accomodate both military ball and the pageant. If not, I still have my ball dress from last year. Anyways, short blog post, but just a decision I made lately that I thought I would share with you all. Much love and God bless! =)

First Week as a Senior

So the day has finally come, I'm a Senior in High School. YESSSSS!! Right? .... NOOOO. My first week has definetly not been as I expected it to go. It hasn't been TERRIBLE, but it wasn't full of bliss like i was hoping it would be. To begin with, I had problems scheduling before school even started. I couldn't take all the classes I want to, and I had to play around with my guidance counsels through three sessions before I could finally get a schedule I liked. That being said, I had to take two courses online through virtual schooling.

The first week of school was probably the longest week I've ever endured throughout my own high school career thus far. Don't get me wrong, all my teachers are fantastic, and I have great friends, but I have senioritis all ready and it's just the first week. The first day of school I couldn't even get parking in the senior lot, and had to park in the junior lot. I guess I'm just ready for college to start. I know what college I plan to attend, I know my living conditions, I know my income, I know what car I'm going to be able to afford and buy, I know what furniture I want to get, and the only thing I don't know is what I want to major in, which I suppose is SLIGHTLY important. Plus since I'm the youngest of seven, and I'm the baby, my parents are nourishing ever possible moment they have left of my adolescent and choose to especially use their last whim of powers to make my life miserable.

With that being said, on my first weekend of being a senior I had a wreck. Now, let me back up and say, my first day of driving to school as a junior I hit a car. It wasn't a bad collision, but none the less, my liscense was taken that day and I couldn't drive to school for the next month. Now, let's go back to the present. I was on my way to my best friend's house, we were going to leave to watch a baseball game down town. It had been raining all day, but the sky had let up a little bit, so I made my way over. I was driving 5 UNDER the speed limit, but i had this insane itch in my foot that would NOT go away. I leaned over and quickly scratched it. In doing so, the car went off the side of the road. I turned the wheel to the left, and as my dad calls it, I overcorrected. The car spun to the left, and I turned the wheel to the right, but nothing happened, my dad says it was because i was already sliding against slick pavement. My front bumper hit against the guardrail, and it bounced off, where finally the wheels took a play, but not in the way i wanted it too. It flung me backwards, and I wound up in a ditch beside the guardrail.

Shockingly enough I didn't panic during the whole "accident" portion. I was calm and was trying to regain control of the wheel, and thank the Lord I had a seat belt on. It wasn't until afterwards when I realized that my little car was NOT getting out of a slick ditch that I started to get frazzled. I got out of my vehicle. The damage was actually not that bad. Some paint was gone on my front bumper, and there was a dent in the guardrail, but no dent in my car. "Good ole faithful" I've always called it. I was fine, and there was no one else in the car with me. A passing family called our state trooper, and a friend from school, ironically named Hope, and her boyfriend saw me about 15 seconds later and stayed with me throughout the whole time. I like to say, "I got in a wreck, but God sent me Hope...literally." My parents unfortunetly were an hour away and couldn't immediately come to my rescue, and because of my shopping trip yesterday I couldn't afford to have a vehicle tow me out. Thankfully, Hope's dad owned a 4 wheel drive, and pulled me out of the ditch, which let me just say, caused my stomach to churn. An hour later, the cops still hadn't showed, and my dad finally arrived. He told me to head on home and thanked Hope's family. At home, my liscense was taken away, which might I add, made me extremely angry because I wasn't speeding. Granted it'll be back in a week, but I'm a senior and already the first week of school my liscense is gone.

So that was my first week of school. Definetly, not like in the movies, although it'll be memorable. It didn't help that my boyfriend's friends told me they were proud of me and wrote songs about me "not being able to drive". grrrrr. Hopefully I'll look back on this one day and I'll laugh, but for not, I'm just irritated. It's five o'clock in the morning and I couldn't sleep, so I blogged instead. Anyways, ttyl.

My Last JROTC Summer Camp

This past week has been one of the best, and also one of the saddest camps I've attended. It was one of the best because I had an awesome time, and made sooo many new friends. It was one of the saddest because it was my last JROTC camp I'll ever attend now that I'm a rising senior. It was a camp called JLEAD, a JROTC camp dedicated to teaching cadets how to be an effective leader, and the different types of leadership. It was a very good camp, granted, some parts were slightly boring, especially when we had 4 hour lectures on caldendar planning, but hey, that gives me notes to help you guys be effective at organizing =) However, the friends I made there were amazing, and I had soooo much fun.

To start with the basics, I was in Bravo Company, 1st Platoon, 3rd squad (in case theres anybody that went there that's reading this.) Me and one of my really good friends, Samantha, were bunkmates. We were told that we would have twin beds, and we both use Queens at our house. So we both had to look through storage and find our old twin sheets from when we were little. She managed to find her cute green sheets from when she was eight. I on the other hand could only find plain white.... and it lookedl ike a hospital bed. Wow. If you look to the right of the picture, the one with the two bunks, you'll see a broom. Yes, that half sized broom became a very important instrument. In our halways, we were told that at nighttime we had to keep our doors open, safety precautions about the boys sneaking over and such. However, I could have sworn that some of the girls on my hallway were guys, they dressed and looked like males, except they had boobs. So me and Sam used the broom to set up an alarm system. We placed it slanted against our dorm, that way if anybody walked into our room at night, it would clatter against the ground. Haha, yeah it wasn't very effective, my other friend ran into our room, and jumped over the broom. Sam was like, "what?! NO! kasey; your not supposed to step OVER our alarm ! go out & try this again" lol.

I made so many friends while I was there. There were friends that I recognized from last year when i went, and I reunited with them. There were tonsss of new friends. If you look in the picture to your right, the guy on the far left, and the guy on the left beside me were best friends, and had a Russian accent. They literally cracked me up every time I talked to them, and made the trip sooo funny. The guy being held up in the blue was sooo sweet and he was like my soul brotha, we were so alike. Ohhh and of course thats Sam right beside me. haha, I've never been complimented so much as I was that one week, there were so many sweet guys who told me how beautiful, funny, pretty, or smart, I was. It seriously makes you laugh and feel really good about yourself, because you're looking your abosolute worst with your hair back, and in a bulky uniform, and theres still cute guys telling you that you look good, talk about a major confidence boost =)
I know it sounds so corny, but i definetly made friends that I'll never forget. The two Russian guys were so hard to become friends with. (One of them is really Russian, but both just fake the accent.) They had a wall up and wouldn't really speak to anybody. However, during the camp, they took us to this place where there were tons of obstacle courses. It was during one of the last events that I bonded with the actualy Russian guy, his names Peter. We had to help each other get across the Low Ropes Course and it definetly helped us bond. Once I got through Peter, it was easier to get to Riley, his best friend, who really wasn't Russian. We all became good friends, and I was soo sad to see them leave.

In case I previously forgot to mention the major details, the camp was held at North Georgia State and College University. If you are considering taking the ROTC route in college, North Georgia is a great place. The barracks are decent, the food is pretty good, the facilities are really nice, and it's one of the six Senior colleges in the United States. (The others being: Norwich University in Vermont, Texas A&M Univeristy, the Citadel, Virginia Military Institute, and Virginia Tech) In case you don't know what a Senior Military College is, it means that you cant be deployed while you're in college. So you don't have to worry about having to stop during the mildde of school and being shipped overseas to fight in the war. North Georgia is ranked in the top 5 cheapest colleges in the US, and honestly i don't see how, because their campus is beautiful. It's a smaller to medium college with 5000 students if you're interested in that, and they have great scholarship programs. North Georgia also commisions more 3 star generals then even West Point, so that's a pretty cool fact.

Anyways, enough about the college. I had an amazing time there, and made so many great friends and memories. If you have a chance to go to this camp, you should because you'll meet so many amazing people and learn so many amazing things. Although this camp was very bittersweet, it was well worth the time, money and energy to go there. I hope this blog post wasn't too boring! I'll keep updating =)

Trips Trips and More Trips

So if you've been following me on youtube for a while (www.youtube.com/stephallijane23) you probably know that I have a habit of going off on rants on almost anthing. Sadly enough this will probably be a habit that will never change, however, I'm going to view it as a positive thing. So instead of ranting away on my videos, I will do so on this blog (since that's what it's kinda made for), and my first discussion will be on all the trips I'm taking.

For me, summer has seemed extremely short due to the fast that almost every other weekend I'm headed off somewhere. As soon as school let out, I was shipped off to Girls State, which is a camp for female leaders. If you have the opportunity to go your Junior Year, you should totally take it, it opens sooo many scholarship oportunities and it looks great for college! I returned home for five days before leaving for D.C. on June 25th for JROTC Nationals for my Leadership Team in which I'm the Captain. I won't really go into the whole thing of what Leadership Team is, because it's hard to explain. I got to fly there, in which that's the first time I've flown in 10 years, and it was definetly VERY exciting =) I had the greatest time there and I bonded with the most amazing people who I still talk to.

After coming home from D.C., I celebrated my best friend's birthday. No "party party", I'm not the partying type, but a nice luncheon with frozen yogurt at the end and tons of hillarious girls make an awesome time =) The girl in the middle with the grey shirt was the birthday girl =)

Anyways, after D.C., I stay home for about two days, and then was headed up to Maryland. (This is actually the trip that I just returned from.) There's a Burmese church there (in which I'm half Burmese and half White), which has been trying to open for about ten years. My mother was on of the original founders of the church, so it was a big deal. I had a great time while I was there with; I'm not around asian people too much because they're pretty much nonexistant where I live, so when I get around them I get super excited haha. I had a blast while hanging out with my cousins, driving down the road with music blasting and watching fireworks in the back of their SUVS, definetly had a fun time. However, my poor mother did not. On the first night there, I got really sick and threw up, but we thought it was just because she was car sick. However, her illness continued throughout the second day, and we figured it was probably food poisoning. While I was out watching fire works, my mom was taken to the Emergency Room in which she was there for many hours because it got sooo bad. My poor mommy. She wanted to return home a day early, and we agreed.

So here I am, home once agin. My next trip isn't until July 20th, in which I have to go to another JROTC Leadership Camp called JLEAD, probably my least favorite of the bunch. So anyways, there's my life in a nutshell for the past couple of days. I'm going to try to get back into the swing of putting up more videos within the next two weeks before I leave. If you have any requests, leave them below, and spread the word about it!! Thanks for taking time to read this and God Bless! =)

Introductions

In case you've stumbled across this blog and are unaware of the author, my name is Sarah Jane and I'm a beauty guru on YouTube. I asked my subscribers if they would read my blog if I started one, and of the answers I recieved, all of them were yes. So here I am starting a blog! It's a little weird for me to be doing this, I told them that this would be more diary based then again. The point of this blog isn't to share more makeup facts, that's what my beauty channel is for. Instead, this blog is to share more about my personal life if you're interested in it. I might mention a product here or there, but it won't be anything major.

To get started, I'll tell you a little bit about myself. As I've stated before, my name is Sarah Jane, and although I won't tell you what state I live in, I do live somewhere south in the United Sates. I'm seventeen-years-old, and I try to enjoy life to the fullest. I try to harmonize in mind, body, and spirit. I'm a complete nerd: I take challenging courses at my high school (in which right now I'm finally a senior!!!), and I work my hardest to make an A in all those courses. I run two miles everyday, and sometimes work out more if I'm in the mood. I also have Bible Study every night with my mother, I am a Christian, and I try to lead a good life. I am by no means perfect, however, I believe there's no harm in at least trying not to make mistakes.

Hmmm, what else to type? I'm not really sure, so if you ladies have any questions, just leave a comment, and I'll try to answer them. Thanks for taking time out of you day to check out this blog and God bless! =)

P.S. if you guys know of any way of making my blog look more fabulous, PLEASE tell me!! haha
